One Month from now, the Veolia Institute will be holding its 10th international conference on "strategic materials for a low carbon future: from resource scarcity to availability" in partnership with Oxford Martin school
It will consider 3 main topics:
►What the low carbon transition implies for materials demand;
►What the main limits to primary resource extraction are;
►And how circular economy principles, resource efficiency and recycling will play a key part in connecting supply and demand.

►Lord Stern Public Lecture

On the evening of November 2nd, Lord Nicholas stern will give a public lecture at the Examination schools in oxford. This lecture will replace the debate in the wider context of the low carbon transition and will be open the larger public.
